Kimi's experience includes work as a producer and as a story developer for NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, ABC’s Good Morning America, Nightline & 20/20, and The Oprah Winfrey Show. She has conceived and produced hundreds of stories around the world and contributed to coverage of major news events including the 9/11 attacks, the Iraq war, Hurricane Katrina, and inaugurations of Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama. In the course of her career, Kimi has negotiated exclusive interviews and access for Diane Sawyer, Barbara Walters and Elizabeth Vargas. At The Oprah Winfrey Show, she was responsible for coordinating and generating future projects. She went on to negotiate and manage all celebrity appearances for Oprah Winfrey's first ever primetime series, “The Big Give." In addition to her role at TDG, she is a contributing producer for the creative development team at OWN, The Oprah Winfrey Network.
Kimi volunteers internationally with Habitat for Humanity's Global Village and Globe Aware. She currently serves as the Executive Director of The Davidson Family Foundation. Her educational background includes a BS in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder and photojournalism studies at SPEOS in Paris, France.
Kimi lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
