Yick Wo also won a Platinum Hermes Creative Award, a Silver Hugo Award, and two Telly Awards; Korematsu and Civil Liberties receives Gold Hermes Creative Award (AMCP)	Susan Schaefer Associate Producer Susan has been with The Documentary Group since the beginning, and was with PJ Productions since 2003. She was the associate producer on the critically acclaimed program To Iraq and Back: Bob Woodruff Reports, which aired on ABC News, and investigated the failure of the government to adequately care for soldiers returning from Iraq with traumatic brain injuries. The program won a Peabody award for excellence in broadcast journalism. While at PJ Productions, Susan worked on numerous documentaries with Peter Jennings including UFOs: Seeing is Believing and the award-winning programs Peter Jennings Reporting: Ecstasy Rising and Beyond Conspiracy: The Kennedy Assassination. Prior to joining PJ Productions, Susan worked for the ABC News Special Events Unit, responsible for coverage of breaking news stories. Before beginning her career in journalism, Susan worked in conflict resolution in the Balkans interviewing survivors of the Bosnian War.
