Editor / Post-Production Supervisor
Marc Tidalgo has worked on a range of projects for DocGroup, including the Constitution Project, a series of films for schools, Angle of Attack: How Naval Aviation Changed the Face of War, and Frontline: Ten Trillion and Counting for PBS. Most recently, Marc was the post-production supervisor for America In Primetime, a four-part PBS special that looked at the creative minds behind television’s current “golden age.”
Marc has edited nine of DocGroup’s award-winning Constitution Project films. For Yick Wo, he was recognized by the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival with an award for Best Editing. He also edited Let Freedom Swing and A Celebration of America, films that looked at the relationship between American jazz and democracy. They were produced in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Marc also worked on To Iraq and Back: Bob Woodruff Reports and STEEP, a documentary about big mountain skiing. For PJ Productions, the predecessor of DocGroup, Marc worked on Breakdown: America’s Health Insurance Crisis, UFOs: Seeing is Believing, and The Kennedy Assassination: Beyond Conspiracy – all part of the Peter Jennings Reporting series.
Prior to joining PJ Productions and DocGroup, Marc lived in San Francisco and worked on various PBS documentary series. Born and raised in LA, he is proud of his California heritage. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, for Film Studies, and currently lives in Manhattan.
