Innbo Shim has overseen multiple productions since joining TDG in 2014. Completed projects include We Will Rise for CNN Films, the Oscar-nominated Cartel Land, The Homefront for PBS, and Midsummer in Newtown for Participant Media and Vulcan Productions.
Prior to joining TDG, Innbo produced both documentary and narrative content for nearly 15 years. She produced features, TV hours and had many artistic adventures at Market Road Films. She also co-produced The Notorious Mr. Bout (World Cinema Documentary Competition, 2014 Sundance Film Festival) and was the executive producer of the Mongolian narrative feature Remote Control (New Current Award, 2013 Busan International Film Festival World Premiere). Her version of film school was the privilege of working with Jonathan Demme and his world of incredible collaborators on several features, including Rachel Getting Married and Jimmy Carter Man From Plains. An even earlier version of film school was working at Film Arts Foundation in San Francisco where the unceasingly creative visions of experimental filmmakers, old school animators, and zero-budget producers continue to inspire.
