Kayce Freed Jennings has extensive experience in both television news and documentaries. Before co-founding DocGroup – and helping to start its predecessor, PJ Productions – she spent 20 years at ABC News, covering international and national news and producing for virtually every broadcast in the network news division. She was on the staffs of Nightline, World News Tonight, Day One and 20/20, and based in London, Atlanta and New York.

He is a founding partner of DocGroup.

Bonnie joined The Documentary Group in 2014 as a Senior Production Associate with The Constitution Project. Bonnie worked as a lawyer and journalist in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, before moving to the United States. She also has experience in TV, film and commercial production both in Sydney and in New York.

Greg Blanc has been with DocGroup since 2007, working primarily on the award-winning educational series, The Constitution Project. In that time, he has helped produce 12 of the series’ films, as well as Let Freedom Swing, a project about Jazz and Democracy created by DocGroup in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center and Teachers College at Columbia University.

Prior to joining TDG, she worked as a freelance producer and production coordinator on a range of projects including the feature film Foreign Letters written and directed by Ela Thier, SNL in the 2000s an NBC prime-time special about the last decade of Saturday Night Live, and Big Mouth Films’ feature documentary Pushing the Elephant.

Heineman is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker based in New York. He recently directed and produced, with Academy Award nominee Susan Froemke, a feature-length documentary ESCAPE FIRE: The Fight to Rescue American Healthcare. It premiered at Sundance 2012, won numerous awards at festivals across the country, and was released by Roadside Attractions/Lionsgate to critical praise in October 2012. The film premiered on CNN in March 2013, with over two million viewers tuning in for the primetime broadcast, and was recently nominated for an Emmy.

Libby Kreutz has been researching imagery and content for documentaries for over 20 years, starting her work on such noted PBS series as Frontline, American Experience, and American Masters. Her collaboration with DocGroup began with two well received ABC documentaries hosted by the late Peter Jennings, The Kennedy Assassination: Beyond Conspiracy and UFOs: Seeing is Believing. Since then, she worked on DocGroup’s feature documentary, Steep, and as licensing director on America in Primetime, broadcast in 2011. She is currently the senior researcher for the company’s series exploring the history of aviation and aerospace.

Pax Wassermann is a film editor and producer with twenty years in features, television and documentaries. In addition to Cartel Land, his documentary work includes Devil’s Playground, the Sally Mann documentary What Remains, the recent films Elaine Stritch: Shoot Me and The Notorious Mr. Bout, and Which Way Home, which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2009. His fiction work includes Peter Bogdanovich’s upcoming comedy She’s Funny That Way, starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston, and Noah Buschel’s directorial debut Bringing Rain. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife Sashy and their two sons.
