Search and Seize-d More Awards!

The good news continues for The Constitution Project! Search and Seizure: Mapp v. Ohio has received the 2014 CINE Special Jury Award. This morning, CINE announced that our film was selected as the best Digital Short Documentary from all 2013 submissions and Golden Eagle Award recipients.

Another round of applause for the team. Let’s keep ’em coming!

The Right to Remain Silent wins two more awards

We’ve just heard that The Right to Remain Silent: Miranda v. Arizona, the most recent film in the Constitution Project series, has been named the winner of two awards this season: an Award of Merit at the Best Shorts Competition, and a Platinum Award at the Hermes Creative Awards, given to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding in the competition.

A big congratulations to our Constitution Project team, who are hard at work on the series’ next set of films.

Search and Seizure: Mapp v. Ohio has been slected by the International Academy of Visual Arts to receive a 2013 Davey Award. The documentary explores one of the most iconic cases in U.S. Supreme Court history – the result of one woman’s fight to ensure that the rights of all are protected.
